Brendan’s been into cars since he was a kid. He grew up pointing out makes and models from the back seat on Sydney roads. Years later, living in Norway, he saw how far ahead they were with electric. That’s where it clicked. EVs weren’t a trend. They were the future. As electric vehicles became more popular in Australia, people kept coming to Brendan with the same questions.

Chris leads the Data & Insights team in Transport Electrification. The team supports the Transport Electrification program teams in the delivery of grants and incentives to NSW businesses. They provide the wider Department and other NSW agencies with information on Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, EV uptake and a myriad of other contextual information to understand how NSW is becoming the best place to own and operate an EV in Australia.

Clare is Head of Business Development at Amber, where she has spent the past five years driving partnerships and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers and accelerate the transition to 100% renewables. She is passionate about tackling climate change and building solutions that create a better future for the next generation—including her two young children.

At Amber, Clare led the project developing and rollout of SmartShift, the company’s world-leading battery automation technology, and the grant application to secure ARENA funding to build Amber’s EV smart charging and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology, now being deployed across Australia.

Clare’s career has been diverse and dynamic. Before Amber, she was Client Success Director at strategy agency Step Change and built a global career in theatre production, working on internationally renowned shows including Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical and Tap Dogs

Dan is the Engagement Officer for the Transport Electrification team (formerly Net Zero Transport) which looks after Electric Vehicle programs for NSW Government. Dan’s aim is to ensure audiences are aware of, and have access to, the programs, grants and resources NSW Government is developing to accelerate the uptake of electric vehicles. For the past two decades Dan has been working in the media but a passion for EVs lead to a change in career. He is delighted to be playing a part in striving towards a net zero future.

Danny is a consultant and entrepreneur working at the cutting edge of the electric vehicle and energy transition. He is passionate about educating and helping consumers make better decisions through data. He is also the founder of zecar.com, a one-stop-shop for all things electric cars.

Darryl's passion for cars, ignited in Vancouver, Canada, bridges his tech background with hands-on automotive expertise. His foundational knowledge came from working at a VW parts company and personally restoring classics, which included a custom '71 Super Beetle that won competitive show awards. Driven by the electric revolution, his focus shifted to extensive research on electric vehicles (EVs). Today, his family manages a three-EV, multi-brand household and has personally owned five EVs, including the BYD Atto 3, BYD Seal Performance, Tesla Model Y, XPeng G6, and Deepal S07. This unparalleled, real-world EV ownership experience forms the foundation of his upcoming platform, New NRG, which aims to simplify the research process and serve as a comprehensive guide with tips for anyone looking to buy or live with an EV.

Eloise is the Investment Lead for Distributed Energy Resources and Vehicle to Grid at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), specialising in the identification and execution of investment opportunities across the DER and V2G portfolios. In her role, she has led a number of investment opportunities to accelerate innovation and contribute to Australia's net zero goals, as well as leading ARENA's efforts in the National Roadmap for Bidirectional EV Charging, which highlights the actions needed to reach 300,000 Australian cars participating in V2G by 2030.

Prior to ARENA, Eloise held positions at KPMG and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) where she worked on key renewable transition programs including the Renewable Integration Study and Engineering Roadmap.

Francis is one of the first V2G enabled customers in Australia - he owns a Nissan leaf and has been doing V2G with Amber for over 18months.

Marc has been involved in fleet management for 30+ years since his time as a motor mechanic. He used his technical training to explore many different parts of the automotive industry. Roles have included sales and marketing at Ampol, operations at SG Fleet, and leadership positions with global tyre brands. He now spreads his time across roles with Fleet News Group, IPWEA, and WLC Fleet Consulting.

Merich Selvi is the CEO and co-founder of Alchemy Charge, a rapidly growing Australian company focused on practical, scalable EV charging infrastructure. With deep expertise in product development and site implementation, Merich leads Alchemy’s efforts to simplify electrification across residential, commercial, and public sites, especially where grid and infrastructure limitations have historically blocked progress.At the intersection of hardware, software, and on-the-ground deployment, Merich is a champion for making EV charging accessible in complex real-world environments.

Steven Beletich is an electrical engineer with 25 years experience in the clean energy sector.  He is the Chief Operating Officer of EVX, where he manages the manufacture and deployment of kerbside 'Polechargers'.  EVX has deployed 200 Polecharger sockets in NSW and Victoria, and has a further 800 in the pipeline for installation across Australia.

Tanvir is a Senior Project Officer with the Transport Electrification team (formerly Net Zero Transport) at the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. He supports the delivery of the Electric Vehicle Ready Buildings Program, helping to expand EV charging infrastructure across NSW.
