Michael Day serves as the National Treasurer of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA). He holds an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering and has amassed 20 years of experience in the design, construction and ownership of electric vehicles.

Michael drives a Tesla Model 3, an electric motorbike for shorter commutes, and a converted electric sports car for leisure, all powered by a large solar system and home battery. Michael is deeply passionate about raising awareness and dispelling myths surrounding electric vehicle ownership.

The AEVA, established in 1973, is the oldest continuously active electric vehicle owner's association in the world. Its mission is to increase awareness of electric vehicles, promote the rapid transition to electric transportation, and serve as an authoritative source of information on EVs in Australia.
