Kieran is a Motorsport fanatic. For over 20 years now, he's been engaged in grassroots motorsport, competing in Supersprints, Hill Climbs and countless trackdays. If he's not racing, he is engaged in Coaching having successfully been part of the first Motorsport Development Program designed for Women (which has now expanded to all) run by the NSW Road Racing Club.
Whilst many see it as a paradox, Kieran is equally an EV enthusiast, swapping his V8's (but not all of them) to EVs. What began 7 years ago as a purchase on a whim to see what EVs were about, to replacing ICE in favour of EVs, has been an eye-opening journey for him with over 300,000 kms covered around Australia since.
Kieran loves his electric vehicles and relishes the opportunity to share his experiences to dispel common myths about their practicality, particularly concerning range and charging infrastructure. He was pleasantly surprised by how manageable a recent trip from Sydney to Uluru was, and he enjoys enlightening others about this. Additionally, he advocates for the inclusion of EVs in motorsport events, especially in Supersprints and Hill Climbs, which align well with the charging needs and battery capacities of EVs.
Feel free to reach out to have a candid and honest conversation about EVs with Kieran who is always happy to share the Good, the Bad and Ugly of EV ownership.
