The Latest Round of EV Fleet Funding from NSW Government is Now Open

Fleet managers in businesses and councils can save money by switching to EVs thanks to NSW Government’s Electric vehicle fleets incentive.

The EV fleets incentive provides funding for eligible businesses to help purchase battery electric vehicles and smart chargers.

The latest round of funding opened recently and is for organisations operating a fleet of at least 21 vehicles, who want to apply to fund 11 or more new battery electric vehicles.

$6 million is available to help NSW businesses cover the total cost of ownership (TCO) gap when upgrading their fleets to EVs.

EV Fleet Incentive

For smaller businesses, or those organisations who want to trial EVs, there is $10.2m still available in kick-start funding. Vehicle incentives start at $5,000 per vehicle and increase to $20,000 per vehicle whilst there is $4,000 to $8,000 available for smart charging hardware.

This funding is available for eligible NSW businesses who have new vehicles registered and chargers purchased from 12 November 2024 and 10 June 2025. Funding will be distributed on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so apply today!

Increased incentives for EVs and charging infrastructure are available for a limited time only.
